Ah, now here is a game crafted with love. Beautiful pixel artwork, frantic caffeinated music, and the sort of sense of humour they just don't understand in the US. It plays rather like the X-Com games in pseudo-realtime, and like the X-Com games, it's good fun and I got quite thoroughly absorbed in it. - 7.7 from Gametunnel

Born of Blood is a very good, though brutally challenging, expansion to the turn-based space strategy game Sword of the Stars..- 7.5

PUZZLE/CASUAL GAMES
Mr. Robot
If you are one of the many who have been waiting for Moonpod's second game, following the 2003 Game of the Year Starscape, your wait is over. I recommend immediately buying the game on CD as you'll want to keep a copy of this one around indefinitely.. - - 9.0 Game Tunnel
Immortal Defense
I love this game--for its elegant, minimalist presentation; for polished gameplay; and for an intelligent design approach to a $tyle of gameplay admittedly pioneered by others; and for its wry and even haunting backstory. -9.0 from Gametunnel
Fizzball
The ability for the game to challenge different kinds of players from 2 year-olds to 80 year-olds is very commendable, and only adds to what will likely be looked on as a hallmark game for years to come.-. - 8.5 GameTunnel
Bookworm Adventures
Everything is added at a nice pace that never overwhelms you, it just makes you want to keep playing. And playing. And playing.-. 8.3 GameTunnel
Venture Arctic
It's a very good game that is original, thought-provoking and fun! It's something that every gamer should set aside some time to properly appreciate, if nothing more than to educate themselves on the wonderful bird known as the Puffin! - 8.3 from Gametunnel
Blast Miner
The slogan "Welcome to minin' country...you'll never want to leave" is all too true in Blast Miner. The beta, the demo and the full version were a blast to play - 8.3 GameTunnel
Snapshot Adventures: Secret of Bird Island
It is a little too complicated to be a true casual game and the wrong theme I'm sure for most Indie gamers, which is unfortunate, because I think if people give this game a chance they'll be very pleasantly surprised with how challenging and entertaining it is. - 8.0 from Gametunnel
Chocolate Castle
Deceptively cute. This game doesn't look like much at first glance, but those fluffy animals and deliciously shiny chocolate morsels conceal a mighty cerebral puzzle experience - 8.0 from GameTunnel
Professor Fizzwizzle and the Molten Mystery
The first Fizzwizzle was good, and this one somehow manages to top it in every way. Molten Mystery rejuvenates the familiar action/puzzle formula with more items, over 200 new levels, and plenty of other extras.(...)Accessible to all ages (yup, even the kiddies), excellent presentation, and oh-my-stars addictive gameplay once again. How do they do that?!- 7.3 from Gametunnel
Kudos
Social commentary meets real-world tedium in this engaging life simulation.- 7.3
Dodge That Anvil!
Dodge that Anvil! is an excellent isometric platform game. One of the marks of a good game, in my estimation, is that it is enjoyed and appreciated more the more it's played. DTA certainly gets points there. -7.3 Game Tunnel
Wu Hing: The Five Elements
However, for the strategy fan looking for a game that has decidedly distinct rules and a unique flavor, it is worth checking out - 7.3 GameTunnel
RIP 3: The Last Hero
A balanced and surprisingly interesting shooter with lots of RPG and adventure elements. - 7.3 GameTunnel
Barrel Mania
This game only loses a point from me because it isn't quite so original as Eets which came before it but essentially if you're a physics puzzle game fan this is on your Must See list . - 7.3 from Gametunnel
Grimm's Hatchery
Not an original concept in casual games (see Insaniquarium), Grimm's Hatchery nevertheless scores points for a lush, fantasy-setting that draws you into the game. - 7.0 from GameTunnel
Galcon
It's definitely one of those simple concepts that I can see many people getting addicted to for hours on end.- - 7.0 GameTunnel
Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble!
A puzzle game set in 20s based on social interactions, from Mousechief (makers of Witch's Yarn)

ACTION
STALKER
It's got some quirks, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. delivers a dynamic and impressive first-person gameplay experience you won't soon forget.- 8.5
Jets'n'Guns Gold
This gold version is exactly the same game as the not-gold version, just with more! More levels, more badguys, more ... ease of use in the shop screen? It's still a super hard game (I'm struggling through easy mode after giving up on normal), super intense, quite funny (marred a bit - or enhanced? - by bad translation), and extremely strategic for a shmup. -8.5 from Gametunnel
Ninjastarmageddon!
This game was made to entertain and it does it oh so well. 8.5 Game Tunnel

ArmA is a challenging and immersive game of modern warfare, but one packed with plenty of frustrating moments and flaws, as well.- 7.0
Attack on Pearl Harbor
Forget about flight-sim physics and just enjoy this dumbed-down take on air combat over the Pacific in World War II.- 7.0
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
The PC version of GRAW 2 is custom-built for the platform, and it's so difficult that it appears to have been custom-built for masochists, as well.- 7.0
Snaky Jake
It takes quite a while to get into the game and new elements are slow to appear. But stick with it and you'll be pleasantly rewarded.- 7.3 from Game Tunnel
